Innovation in Bharatanatyam, Performing Arts, and Mythology

Supporting Natanasvara.ai: India’s classical dance heritage, including Bharatanatyam, faces challenges due to the lack of technology-driven solutions for training, analysis, and preservation. Dancers, choreographers, academies, and competition organizers struggle with accurate pose tracking, motion analysis, expression recognition, and the absence of real-time feedback, making learning less efficient.

Most dancers rely on recording their practice sessions to visualize movements, but this process is time-consuming, disrupts practice flow, and causes mental fatigue. To address these issues, we are developing an AI-powered platform that integrates Deep Learning, Pose and Motion Tracking, Expression & Emotion Feedback, and Gesture Analytics to provide real-time corrective feedback through a mobile app. This innovative solution will streamline practice, enhance systematic learning, improve competition assessment, and foster creative choreography, ensuring Bharatanatyam’s growth and accessibility while preserving its cultural essence

Supporting Vidyakala: India’s ancient cultural heritage is rooted in 64 Kala’s (arts and performing arts) and 14 Vidya’s (knowledge and techniques), each distinct in its expression. These encompass a vast spectrum of talents, including performing arts, visual arts, writing, yoga, dance, theatre, magic, painting, dialect mastery, singing in various raagas, and much more. Unfortunately, this rich practitioner community often works in isolation, with about 40% of these art forms forgotten or at risk of vanishing as they fail to be passed on due to lack of awareness and sustainable income for practitioners. Additionally, the absence of an organized platform limits collaboration between scholars, learners, students, and curators. To address this, we are creating a digital platform to digitize and preserve these art forms, making them accessible to the common man. Through curated classes and connections between artists, scholars, and learners, our platform aims to revive
